Three products designed by outerspace, the Fusion Guitar, and the Robo C2 & Robo R2 3D printers recently won at the Good Design Awards.
The 2017 Good Design Awards were held in Sydney, Australia after a lengthy and extensive evaluation process involving more than thirty-five international design experts.
The Fusion Guitar is an all-in-one electric travel guitar. Built in battery, amplifier and speakers make it very portable. For new guitar players, it takes the hassle out of researching and selecting gear. You simply pick it up, turn it on and play it. Fusion also has iPhone integration that lets you watch video tutorials while you play and puts the best guitar teaching apps literally at your fingertips.
Advanced players who already own gear are attracted to the convenience of the world’s first truly portable electric guitar to play anywhere, anytime. Real-time signal processing combined with guitar apps let you create unlimited effects. The attractive product format uses a monocoque construction to keep the size and weight down so you can move the printer between home, school and office.
Designed for a plug-and-print user experience, it only takes a few minutes to set up out of the box. A full colour screen and Wi-Fi enabled iPhone app make it easy to monitor and operate the printers. A wide variety of compatible filament materials provides a greater level of design freedom for building decorative and functional objects alike.
